Please read these terms carefully before using MadrasahSync.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MadrasahSync (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
MadrasahSync is a school management platform that provides:
- Student enrollment and record management
- Attendance tracking
- Academic progress monitoring
- Parent communication portal
- Fee management and billing
- Class and teacher management
- Reporting and analytics
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use MadrasahSync, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3.2 Account Types

4. Subscription and Payment
4.1 Free Plan
Our Free plan includes limited features and is subject to usage limits (e.g., maximum 50 students, 3 teachers). Free plans may be discontinued or modified with 30 days notice.
4.2 Paid Plans
- Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Payment Method: We accept major credit cards through Stripe
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Price Changes: We will provide 30 days notice of any price increases
4.3 Refunds
- Monthly Plans: No refunds for partial months
- Annual Plans: Pro-rated refund available within first 30 days
- Exceptions: Refunds may be issued at our discretion for service issues
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access until the end of your current billing period
- Your data remains available for download for 30 days
- After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 You Agree To:
- Use the Service only for lawful educational purposes
- Provide accurate information about your institution and users
- Protect the privacy of students and comply with applicable laws (COPPA, FERPA, etc.)
- Obtain necessary consents before adding users to the platform
- Keep your account credentials secure
5.2 You Agree NOT To:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share or sell access to your account
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
6. Data and Privacy
6.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to MadrasahSync. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6.2 Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6.3 Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.4 Data Portability
You may export your data at any time through the platform's export features. Upon account termination, we will provide you with an opportunity to download your data.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by SoftUps and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
7.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload. You grant us a license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use this feedback without any obligation to you.
8. Service Availability
8.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
8.2 Modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that negatively affect your use of the Service.
8.3 Support
Support is provided based on your subscription plan:
- Free Plans: Community support and documentation
- Basic Plans: Email support (48-hour response time)
- Premium Plans: Priority email support (24-hour response time)
9. Disclaimers
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security of data transmissions
10. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoftUps, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload to the Service
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your payment method fails and is not updated
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Service
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease
- We will delete your data within 30 days (unless legal retention is required)
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, please contact us to attempt informal resolution. Many issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
13.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.3 Arbitration
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are not permitted.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SoftUps regarding the Service.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
14.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.
14.5 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
